Hi — I'm Hien Hang, a software developer with 7+ years building user-facing products across fintech, e-commerce, and enterprise. I'm frontend-leaning (React, Next.js, TypeScript) but comfortable owning features end-to-end with backend experience in TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Prisma. I focus on building user-friendly software, with a track record of improving application performance and user engagement across multiple projects.

My current obsession is leveraging AI to build smart software, experimenting with LLM APIs to ship AI-driven features that make our everyday lives easier.

Fruitaholics 2026

A fruit Pokédex — an encyclopedia of around 300 fruits. Each fruit has its own info page including flavour profile, how to pick a good one, seasonality, best way to eat, food pairings, and origin. Filter by country for seasonal fruits, or explore new fruits using the world atlas. Use AI to identify unfamiliar fruits (v1.0.1 in App Store review).

Sale-Smells 2025

A sales-call analysis platform — upload a recording for a full transcript (AssemblyAI), sentiment analysis, and constructive coaching feedback from the Claude API.

Proposal Builder 2026

A bilingual, interactive proposal-builder for a proposal business — replacing the client's static PDF price list with a guided experience. Includes a live running total, photo previews, and the finished plan emailed straight to the business via EmailJS. Zero-backend — Cloudflare Pages hosts the SPA, Cloudinary serves imagery, and the full catalogue lives in a single data file so price updates never touch UI code.

Silk-xtensions 2025

An e-commerce platform I launched in May 2025 for my own hair-extension business. Built on Next.js with a Sanity-backed catalogue organised by colour and length, Stripe checkout, and Resend + React Email for order confirmations. A business I run end-to-end — engineering, content, inventory.

Northumbria Way Pharmacy 2025

A full-service site for a Cramlington pharmacy. Includes a landing page for each of their 18+ private and NHS services, with detailed information and a booking CTA that deep-links into their Charac appointment system. Built with React and Vite, with lazy-loaded pages. I use Resend with serverless functions for emails.

Honor Life Secure 2025

A life insurance brokerage marketing site. My client wanted to capture leads through a multi-step quote form and pipe submissions straight to their team without managing a database. I used an Express API so submissions land in Google Sheets and the team's inbox via Resend.
